Growing up in California, I've never been someone who tans naturally. I know that feeling well — wanting a glow and having no way to get one. Over time, a good spray tan became less of a luxury and more of a quiet confidence boost I didn't want to go without.

When I first visited French Polynesia, I assumed I'd find what I always had back home. I didn't. For a destination defined by weddings, honeymoons, photoshoots, and days spent entirely in a swimsuit, it felt like an obvious gap.

So when I made Moorea home, I filled it.
